NFF identifies with Authentic football Supporters club ahead of AFCON 2019

Authentic football supporters club under the able leadership of Abayomi Ogunjimi has continued to make huge impact in football supportership in Nigeria with the giant stride they have taken towards announcing their arrival in a trade already dominated by the Nigeria football supporters club and the Eagles supporters club. On Saturday May 25, while other rival groups were sleeping in the comfort of their homes, Bonfrere, as Abayomi is fondly called, was out under the scorching sun, leading his group in the federal capital territory where Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi was getting married to his heartthrob of many years, while in Auchi, another group was paying their last homage to the late mother of Super Eagles winger Ahmed Musa, who died only recently and was laid to rest on Saturday. The Supporters club played their part in the ceremony and were well appreciated by Saudi Arabia based Ahmed Musa who showered praises on them for standing by him in his moment of grief. 

At Wilfred’s wedding in Abuja, LMC chairman and second vice president of the NFF Shehu Dikko and NFF general secretary Sanusi Mohammed were pictured in excited mood with president of the Authentic football supporters club in a manner that portrays a feeling of satisfaction and appreciation. It is like both administrators where silently appreciating and endorsing Abayomi for his vibrancy, resilience and determination that has seen the club come this far in only a matter of months since it came into existence. The Authentic football supporters club has concluded arrangements to storm Egypt with over one hundred supporters armed with trumpets and drums, to fully support the Super Eagles at the 2019 Nations cup.
