Start the league before October 15; Dare dares NFF

Nigeria sports minister Sunday Dare has told chieftains of the Nigeria football federation NFF, and the league management company LMC, to ensure they come up with a kickoff date for the 2019/2020 Nigeria professional football league season.
A top source close to the Oyo state born administrator, told that the minister in a telephone chat, has charged both the NFF and LMC to go all out and source for funds as flimsy excuses will no longer be accepted going forward.

The new season was originally scheduled to kickoff on Sunday September 22 but that date became no longer feasible as the league body battled with myriads of problems ranging from sponsorship and administrative crisis.
Sunday Dare is very angry that the home based Super Eagles team on Sunday in Lome, lost 4-1 to the hawks of Togo in a CHAN qualifier, a result that has now put our chances of qualifying for the competition proper under threat.
The 2018/2019 season suffered lots of postponement, forcing the league body to organize an abridged league season that lasted for just five months.
